Fireworks Extravaganza On the Green

Come one! Come all! Join us at The Village Green Commons for an evening of music, family fun, and of course, fireworks! This is a FREE community event, open to the public, and no registration is required!

The annual “Fireworks Extravaganza on The Green” will take place on Wednesday, July 3RD, starting at 6:00pm, RAIN or SHINE, on The Village Green Commons Lawn!

***A portion of Frank Allen Road will be closed to thru traffic from 6-10:30 PM for Fireworks Safety purposes. Please avoid parking at the Rec Center, the Boys and Girls Club, and on the side of Frank Allen Road. If parking in the Library or Post Office parking lots, vehicles cannot leave until Frank Allen Road reopens.***

Entertainment will be provided by the Cashiers Community Chorus, Caribbean Cowboys Band, and the Cashiers School of the Arts followed by extraordinary fireworks show at dark featuring thousands of colorful bursts!

The event will feature amazing live music, an interactive line dance tutorial and conga line, local food and beverage vendors, dancing, and of course, fireworks!!

Admission is free; however, donations will be collected to help with the cost of the event. Many small communities have eliminated fireworks from their celebrations due to the cost associated with large pyrotechnic displays, but The Village Green believes it is important to preserve this patriotic tradition for the Cashiers community. The Village Green is a 501c3 nonprofit park system and does not receive any funds from Jackson County, the state of NC, or the Federal Park System.

Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs, and picnics and coolers with their own food and beverages. Elevated Kitchen Food Truck, Crossroads Custard, and Innovation Brewing will be at the event serving delicious food and beverages! Due to the size and nature of this event, dogs will not be allowed and personal tents are not allowed.
