Gobble On The Green – Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk
Join us for the annual Gobble on The Green 5K Run/Walk through the beautiful mountain village of Cashiers, on Thanksgiving morning! This fun, family-friendly event is a great way to start your holiday with a scenic run or walk.

Registration for the 2025 race opens in August!

In addition to the 5K, we’ll host the 4th Annual Junior Warrior Course at The Village Green Playground, designed for kids to enjoy a free, interactive obstacle course! It’s a perfect way for families to be involved! Each participant receives a fun prize!

Pre-Race Check-In:
Pick up your race bib and t-shirt early on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Lewis Hall (160 Frank Allen Road, Cashiers). Early check-in is encouraged to ensure an on-time race start on Thanksgiving morning!

Race Day Check-In:
7:15 AM – 8:30 AM on Thanksgiving morning, November 27th.

Race Details: 2025 will feature a NEW 3.2 mile course!

Please note that parts of the course include gravel, grass, dirt, and paved paths. While The Village Green is a dog-friendly park, due to the number of participants, no dogs are allowed in the race.

Awards & Prizes:
Awards will be given to the top two overall winners in each of the 7 age categories. Participants must be present to win.
