DESCRIPTION:Turkey\, cornbread dressing\, pumpkin pie\, football\, and family time … there are so many reasons to love Thanksgiving! Did we mention pie? Each family has its own activities and traditions to look forward to. The Village Green offers a 5K Run/Walk turkey-trot\, Gobble On the Green. Gobble on The Green will be held on November 23rd in 2023. \nTo register for Gobble on The Green click the link here: https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Cashiers/GobbleontheGreen \nBe sure to register before November 7th to get a 2023 Gobble on The Green t-shirt! \nAwards for the 5K will be given to best male and female overall\, and age level awards will be given to first place winners in 12 different age brackets (male and female). Door prizes from local businesses will also be awarded and will be determined by random bib number drawings! Participants must be present to win. \nIn addition to the 5k\, The Village Green offers the kids Junior Warrior Course on Thanksgiving morning from 9:30-10:30am! Kids of all ages can come to The Village Playground to complete a scavenger-hunt type of obstacle course. This course is FREE to all children and prizes will be awarded to each Junior Warrior! No registration is necessary for the Junior Warrior Course.
