DESCRIPTION:Join us for an author event with Kristen Harmel presented by the Albert Carlton Cashiers Library 3 p.m. Friday\, September 3 at the Commons Hall.  She is the author of The Book of Lost Names returning with an evocative coming-of-age World War II story\, The Forest of Vanishing Stars is her recent novel about a young woman who uses her knowledge of the wilderness to help Jewish refugees escape the Nazis—until a secret from her past threatens everything.  She will share this newest release during this event. \nKristin Harmel is the New York Times bestselling\, USA Today bestselling\, and #1 international bestselling author of The Book of Lost Names\, The Winemaker’s Wife\, and a dozen other novels that have been translated into twenty-nine languages and are sold all over the world.
