SUMMARY:Cashiers Come Play With Me
DESCRIPTION:With great anticipation and joy\, The Friends of the Cashiers Greenway Ramble announce the installation of StoryWalk™ ‘s first book\, “Cashiers\, Come Play With Me\,” located throughout the Ramble in the Village Green. This engaging book tells the story of how the Village Play came to be. Written at a second-grade level in both English and Spanish\, it details the efforts of the Cashiers Community volunteers who planned and built it. Each page will include activities to engage and challenge children at all levels. \nDedication of the book is scheduled for Saturday\, June 19 from 11am – 1pm with a family picnic to take place at the first standard of the StoryWalk® –  near the Village Play. \nCheck out this delightful video providing details on the Dedication Picnic and installation of the first book:  https://youtu.be/iDIJnAnX8J0

DESCRIPTION:We regret that the June Village Nature Series is CANCELED. \nThe Village Nature Series is an educational program that promotes conservation sponsored in collaboration with the Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust.  The series of presentations highlight distinct cultural and natural features of the area.  Visit the Village Nature Series page for a full program schedule. \nThe Village Nature Series is held at 5:00 p.m. the last Tuesday of the months of April through September either via Zoom or at The Village Green Commons on Frank Allen Road in Cashiers with a Zoom option. Depending on safe distancing and current health guidance\, location will be announced monthly.
