The next concert at The Village Green will be at our July 4th Extravaganza! \nThis rain or shine event will feature The Victory Belles\, an amazing performance by a lively trio singing choreographed numbers popular during WWII\, and Continental Divide\, a rockin’ rhythm and blues band from Charlotte\, NC! \nThe annual “Fireworks Extravaganza on the Green” will take place at 6:30 p.m.\, RAIN OR SHINE\, on Monday\, July 4th on The Village Green Commons Lawn. Entertainment will be provided in the form of the rhythm and blues band Continental Divide\, a visit from The Victory Belles who put on an amazing performance by a lively trio singing choreographed numbers popular during WWII\, and a 30-minute firework show featuring over 1\,000 colorful bursts!I \nAdmission to the event is free\, however\, donations will be collected to help with the cost of the event. Many small communities have eliminated fireworks from their celebrations due to the costs of a large pyrotechnic display\, but The Village Green believes it is important to preserve this patriotic tradition for the Cashiers community. \nTo make your July 4th experience as streamlined and easy as possible\, we will have four\, local vendors purveying food and drinks: WanderView Hospitality (artisinal charcuterie boxes)\, Buck’s Coffee Cafe (Wine and Beer)\, and Crossroad’s Custard (Frozen Custard and Sweet Treats). Attendees are also able to bring picnics and coolers with their own food and beverage. We hope to see you all there\, and God Bless America!
