Giro Naito
Giro's sculptures follow a strict geometry. References are from nature and the way nature builds forms. Naito takes this exact structural concept to an extreme in his building process. In Diamond, each facet is precisely the same. The interior of the sculpture was welded with an armature to insure no warping in the fabrication process and then it was painted yellow inside.
