Village Play

One of the highlights of a visit to The Village Green is the children’s playground, Village Play. As you enter the gated area, the laughter and energy of children fill the air. Planks test balance and courage. Swings lift higher and higher in the air. A puppet theater encourages playful imagination. Climbing structures lead to tubular slides for gliding adventures.

Village Play was designed by the children of Cashiers in 2002. The playground was then constructed entirely by members of the community. More than 1,500 volunteers worked for five days to build the fantasy playground. Village Play is located near the entrance to The Village Green off of Highway 64 near The Gazebo.
