Cashiers Valley Leaf Festival – October 9th-11th, 2026
Celebrate the leaves beginning to change in the beautiful mountain village of Cashiers at the Leaf Festival! This popular and free event welcomes 100 talented artisans to the park.
Halloween Trick-or-Treat Street on Frank Allen – October 24th, 2026
Residents and visitors can enjoy a free block party style trick-or-treating event along Frank Allen Road!
Gobble on The Green – November 26th, 2026
Enjoy a Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K through the beautiful and serene village of Cashiers! Registration will be open in the summer of 2026.
Visitors of The Village Green enjoy beautiful light displays and festive decorations from Thanksgiving Weekend until February. Enjoy an artisan gift market, and a visit with Santa before the Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 28th.
Help keep Cashiers Merry & Bright until February 2025 by donatining to Lights on The Green! Each contribution keeps this beloved tradition alive year after year!
Education Programs at The Village Green
The Village Green and Highlands-Cashiers Land Trust co-host a series of lectures each summer for visitors and residents to learn about wildlife, habitats, conservation, and local cultural heritage from expert speakers! The Village Nature Series will begin at 5:30 p.m. on a select Tuesday or Wednesday during the months of April through September at The Village Green at 160 Frank Allen Road in Cashiers.
NEW! Youth Village Nature Series will be held on a select Tuesday from 4-5PM during the months of June, August, October, and December.
These programs are FREE, family-friendly, held rain or shine, and no registration is required.

Cashiers Greenway Ramble Storywalk
The StoryWalk™ was made possible through a collaboration between Vision Cashiers, The Village Green, The Albert Carlton-Cashiers Library, and The Literary Council of Cashiers. A StoryWalk™ provides an outdoor adventure that champions reading along with family connection, health, and wellness.
The StoryWalk™ is part of the Cashiers Greenway Ramble. Cashiers Greenway Ramble is an extensive network of trails, sidewalks, and pedestrian-friendly roads connecting Cashiers’ in-town parks, commercial districts, and community buildings. A major section of the Ramble known as the Salamander Loop is located in The Village Green. Conveniently park once and walk! To learn more visit the Ramble website.
